Praise the Lord!
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Let all who fear the Lord repeat: "His faithful love endures forever." In my distress I prayed to the Lord , and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the Lord is for me; he will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people. My enemies did their best to kill me, but the Lord rescued me. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of he Lord has done glorious things! The strong right arm of the Lord is raised in triumph. I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the Lord has done. The Lord has punished me severely, but he did not let me die. Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the Lord. I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory! This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success. The Lord is God shining upon us. You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endues forever. (Psalm 118:1,4-8,13-16a-19,21,24&25,27a,28&29/NLT)

There's a Praise Party Go'in On
Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise His mighty heaven! Praise Him for His mighty works; praise His unequaled greatness! Praise Him with a blast of the ram's horn; praise Him with the lyre and harp! Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing; praise Him with strings and flutes! Praise Him with a clash of cymbals; praise Him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Psalm 150:1-6/NLT)
Ain't no party like a Holy Ghost party, cause a Holy Ghost party don't -- stop!

Down, But Not Out!
We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:7/NLT)
Today may have had some cloudy outcomes, but tomorrow will make things clearer.

Love is the Greatest
If I could speak all the languages on earth and of the angels, but didn't love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, enough faith to move mountains and understood all of God's secret plans, but didn't love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I had to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it, but if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, boastful, proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being right or wrong. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Prophecy, speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless; but love will last forever!
Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13: 1-8,13/NLT)

Be Still...
I feel like I’m in a place and space all by myself,
but I am fine in my mind, because it is
where God would have me to be.
I am yearning; the fire is burning;
the wheels of life are turning, but God.
Be still and know that I am God.
The tears are falling, the Lord is calling –
come My way, come My way.
My soul wanders; my soul wonders,
be still and know that I am God.
Time and season; rhyme and reason,
be still and know that I am God.
Born a child; born a boy; born a girl,
Jesus is the Light of the world.

Don't Judge
People are all different which is good because variety is the spice of life. We have a right to have a difference of opinion, and nobody has to be right or wrong. We just agree to disagree.
Don't look at a person and think you know them. We are all like onions. We have a lot of layers to peel away, and under each one is a different and unique experience.
How can anyone decide why a person acts a certain way when they haven't walked in their shoes.
We want what others have, but are we willing to sacrifice what they did to get it?
Don't judge me because I have to enforce the rules on my job. The working me is just one part of a multi-faceted, very complex individual.
How can you just look at me and decide you hate me? To know me is to love me!
"Don't speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters. If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God's law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you. God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?" (James 4:11-12/NLT)

How to Overcome Today!
1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out His commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. (1John 5:1-5 NIV)
Now is the time to come to Jesus. If you don't come to Him, He will eventually come to you. It is always easier to volunteer to do something rather than to do it out of desperation. Jesus is a gentleman, and would never force anyone to accept Him. But as sure as the sun will shine, turmoil happens in our lives that sends us desperately seeking Jesus. It happened to me. It will happen to you. Come to Jesus on your own while all is well so He can keep you through life's storms. NOW is the time!
