But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don't, the Advocate won't come. If I do go away, then I will send Him to you. (John 16:7 NLT)
Christ's departure was necessary for the Comforter's coming. Sending the Spirit was to be the fruit of Christ's death. His bodily presence could only be in one place at a time, but His Spirit could be and is everywhere, in all places, at all times. Comforting, helping, sustaining us is the Spirit's work; He can do it effectually, and none but He.
God is the Creator; Jesus is the Savior; Holy Spirit is the Counselor.
Let the Holy Spirit come into your life and do His Job!
