1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out His commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Now is the time to come to Jesus. If you don't come to Him, He will eventually come to you. It is always easier to volunteer to do something rather than to do it out of desperation. Jesus is a gentleman, and would never force anyone to accept Him. But as sure as the sun will shine, turmoil happens in our lives that sends us desperately seeking Jesus. It happened to me. It will happen to you. Come to Jesus on your own while all is well so He can keep you through life's storms. NOW is the time!
